Notable deals included Southern Communications Group’s acquisition of X-on and 4Com Technologies’ buy-out of Midshire Telecom in the first half of the year, then in the second half it worked on Spinnakar’s sale to Wayside Technology Group and Sixpenny Group‘s purchase of the Virgin Group’s former headquarters.
Jeremy Over, corporate partner at Moore Barlow, said: “The volume and scale of the deals our teams have supported over the last 12 months showcase the ambitions of management teams and business owners to grow their businesses despite the challenging economic headwinds impacting our economy.
“Higher interest rates coupled with an inflationary environment is making it more challenging to execute transactions but we continue to see plenty of dealmaking opportunities for the right businesses in the current marketplace and we look forward to continuing to support our clients into 2023 and beyond.”
