Local based business Sportskit ProSoccer Ltd is expanding its operations, relocating to new premises on the Nuffield Industrial Estate, Poole. NatWest has provided funding for the move.

Simon Heaps and Barry Collie have successfully run Sportskit ProSoccer Ltd since 2001. The business was originally based at the Somerford Business Park in Christchurch and has moved to the new Poole site to provide increased office space and warehouse facilities to accommodate the future growth plans of the business.

Sportskit ProSoccer has supplied kit and/or training equipment to every current Premiership club in the country, along with all Coca-Cola Football League clubs, in addition to the leading clubs in Scotland. During the last few seasons the customer base has expanded to include college academies, universities, local authorities and many local league teams around the UK. With Sportskit ProSoccer also providing kit to national squads, it is now considered to be the number one football specialist in the UK.

Pete Rollett, Commercial Manager at NatWest, worked closely with Simon Heaps and Barry Collie to tailor a funding package to meet the current and future requirements of Sportskit ProSoccer.

Heaps, MD of Sportskit ProSoccer Ltd said: “The purchase of our new warehouse will greatly improve the efficiency of the business, consolidating the warehouse and office operation with floor space allowing for future growth. The NatWest team has demonstrated not only a strong understanding of our business but also a genuine desire to support us with our growth aspirations. The funding of this building is the latest example of their commitment."

Rollett added: “The NatWest team worked tremendously hard to put together a comprehensive funding package to assist with the relocation plans of Sportskit ProSoccer. This successful business already occupies a market-leading position and this move will allow them scope to consolidate and continue to grow going forward.”
