B P Collins is continuing its expansion through a merger with Cathcarts Solicitors, a West London firm with expertise in property and private client matters.

With 60 lawyers across offices in Gerrards Cross, Thame, the City of London and now Ickenham in West London, the combined firm will operate under the B P Collins name.

B P Collins says the acquisition will enhance its ability to support clients on property, and wills, trusts and probate matters, as well as offer additional services to Cathcarts’ clients including family, dispute resolution, employment and business advice.

Simon Deans, senior partner at B P Collins LLP, said: “We’re delighted that we’ve come to an agreement with Cathcarts to combine the excellent services and cultures of both legal practices for the benefit of our clients.

“We find that clients prefer when all of the services and specialist lawyers they need to achieve their goals are available through one firm.

“This deal will serve to add depth and breadth to our offering and help us expand our existing presence in London.

“It’s a significant milestone in both firms’ histories and will bring many benefits through our shared values and vision for the future.”

Peter Cathcart, consultant, added:“We’ve enjoyed a close working relationship with B P Collins over many years.

“My partner John Cathcart and I feel this is a very positive step forward for our team and our clients.

“We look forward to continuing to deliver an excellent service.”
