A south coast legal firm has further expanded its commercial property and planning department.
Southampton-based Paris Smith & Randall LLP has appointed Frances Cook as associate and Martyn Emmens as solicitor.
They join partners Mark Howarth, Tom Georgiou and David Eminton and
solicitor Simon Pestell as part of the Commercial Property Portfolio and Litigation Team.
The six-strong team, part of a department with more than 30 lawyers,
represent clients with a wide range of property portfolios.
Work ranges from acquisitions and disposals to development, including
options and conditional contracts, and leases, lease renewals and all aspects of landlord and tenant portfolio management, including contentious work.
Cook, with 12 years experience in law, was headhunted from Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons in Southampton.
Emmens studied law at the University of Southampton and then undertook his legal training with Amphlett Lissimore in London.
Tom Georgiou, a partner at the firm, said: “Frances and Martyn will further strengthen our expertise as we continue to build on our existing excellent reputation for providing first-class legal advice to commercial property owners and investors in the region.”
