IT specialist and leading IT training provider Blue Chip will be running a second free-of-charge SharePoint 2013 workshop and demonstration following a successful event earlier in the year. The event will take place at Blue Chip’s training suite at its headquarters in Poole on the morning of Thursday September 11.

The workshop is part of an ongoing series of Blue Chip’s Microsoft seminars that highlight the tangible benefits of the technology for customers, and increase their knowledge and understanding of how technology can work within their businesses to drive efficiencies, create collaborative environments and achieve greater productivity and therefore bottom line returns.

Anthony Green, sales and marketing director, said: “Customers have requested a further workshop on SharePoint because enabling employees to work collaboratively across an organisation is no longer an option in today’s competitive environment.  Progressive businesses want and need a successful intranet or portal that provides a single shared platform with dynamic reference points, content, tools and resources to save time and build documents collaboratively.  SharePoint 2013 is both cost effective and easy to update and manage, making it a first choice for many of our customers.”

As a Microsoft Gold Partner, Blue Chip is respected as an authority on Microsoft products and works closely with businesses to find the best solution for them.

The SharePoint 2013 workshop is an open forum for attendees to explore new ways to share work, organise projects and teams and discover people and information, as well as publishing content to SharePoint from any Microsoft Office application with the ability to both quickly and easily share documents with people inside or outside a business.
