Gentian Developments, and their joint venture partners Sunny Day Trading, have completed the purchase of 6.1 acres of industrial land at Buckmore Park. The site in Petersfield is next to the junction of the A3 and A272.
The site has outline planning consent for 50,000sq ft of industrial, employment, and R&D uses. It will be developed in tandem with the company's adjoining site to provide over 70,000 sqft in total on a site area of 7.5 acres.
Gentian Developments will submit a planning application to discharge all reserved matters. The new scheme will be targeting an “excellent” BREAM rating. It will incorporate green roofs and rainwater gardens. There will also be provision of solar energy and an enhanced Biodiversity scheme. The company aims for construction to start during the first half of 2022.
This scheme is part of the larger Buckmore development. This includes a site for 85 new dwellings, a country park and a new classic car storage facility that has been developed by Pikes Peak.
Rocmor acted for the purchasers and Ian Judd and Partners for the vendor. Letting agents for the industrial development are Vail Williams and JLL.
