Three Features of the Regeneration Project of the Year

As we near the nominations deadline for the South Coast Property Awards 2024, we’re looking forward to once again bringing together all the region’s top agents, developers, planners, consultants, property lawyers, and dealmakers.

This year’s wide array of categories is as diverse and all-encompassing as ever. From the Property Deal of the Year to the Workplace of the Year, the 6th of June 2024 will see the presentation of 15 trophies to some truly worthy winners.

With so many titles to be taken home, one particularly interesting accolade is the Regeneration Project of the Year. Sponsored by AECOM, this award will be presented to the company whose project is deemed the most impressive by our independent judges.

But what will the winner look like? Here are three features of the Regeneration Project of the Year:

Impactful

Whether it’s an urban regeneration project, a community-based project or an infrastructure development program, your project needs to have made a real difference to its surroundings. The larger the impact of your project, the better your chance of winning in the eyes of our judges.

Mindful

A significant factor to consider when entering for the chance to take home this award is the extent to which your project meets the future needs of both the local workforce and community. A successful regeneration project is one that is effectively suited to the surrounding public's needs.

Adaptive

While the impacts of your project are vitally important, it is also crucial that it is well received by all those affected by it. To ensure that your development has had the intended results, we know that challenges and necessary changes will have been faced along the way. Our judges are looking for someone who has been flexible in their approach to reshaping the landscape.

So, do you think you might know the Regeneration Project of the Year?

Nominations for the South Coast Property Awards 2024 are still open but time is running out – head over to the event page now for your chance to be named among the best-of-the-best at this year’s black-tie gala event!
