FeverCheck creating a health bubble around your event
Feverchecker Pro is a non-invasive medical intervention and monitoring system which is helping business, live event planners and sports team management maintain health and control viral outbreaks.
With Government Coronavirus regulations relaxing into guidance, and UK’s international travel restrictions lapsing this week, the public and employers are being urged to remain covid-vigilant.
This is where Feverchecker Pro enters the building.
“We enter the building to ensure Covid doesn’t.” said Steve Hathaway of FeverCheck.
“We create a health bubble around events allowing people to enjoy them in a more relaxed manner. This is the best example of how companies can remain covid vigilant, protecting staff and customers alike.
FeverCheckerPro is, in short, a digital screening and health management system, in alignment with the Governments’ Living with Covid initiative.
Mr Hathaway said: "having a Fever Firewall in place as a virtual virus barrier is an effective measure to protect people and reduce the chances of disruption to business and services resulting from COVID-19."
“Our tech allows for real time data monitoring, where temperature profile of large numbers of people can be monitored and evaluated through our IT system.
"We can monitor individuals who subscribe through a phone app and large crowds alike.
“Our control points also allow for vaccine checks, registration and invitation checking, all hands free at the point of entry.
“We have market based functionality. The aim is to keep covid out of the building, gathering, nightclub, party or sport event in the first instance, this is the best way to reduce outbreaks.”
Mr. Hathaway whose background is in media technology, founded the business two years ago. The FeverCheck business model, while currently covid centric, extends beyond the pandemic.
Steve explains: “My father. John Olley passed away of pneumonia in 2020. This was a totally avoidable death.
“Early intervention to most health issues means better prognosis for the patient. Sepsis and pneumonia are only two ailments which feature high fevers for example. Early intervention only helps treat and contain communicable diseases.”
The tech is in widespread use in Asian and Far East markets but it is a growth industry in England. As such Mr Hathaway is currently expanding his team.
“I think we will see a greater awareness of and adherence to health issues post covid,” he concluded.
