CityFibre plans £9.5m infrastructure investment for Sittingbourne
Sittingbourne in Kent will receive a £9.5 million investment into its digital infrastructure.
The investment will see CityFibre installing full fibre enabled internet services into each home and business in the town, as it looks to improve Kentish infrastructure.
Work will begin later this year, once complete CityFibre’s full fibre broadband will be available, along with a range of other broadband providers.
Anne Krausse, area manager at CityFibre, said: “In a few short months, our builders will get to work on a town-wide Full Fibre network – and we think people will be amazed by the difference it will make, both now and for generations to come.
“This technology will bring a whole host of opportunities for residents and businesses in the southeast and we can’t wait for them to see what is possible with strong digital connectivity.”
