Peter Laurie has been appointed as the new head of client relations at Elcot Publications.
Peter will strengthen links with key clients; develop new areas of business; and work with sponsors on The Business Magazine’s lists and awards campaigns.
A former business founder and owner, Laurie has worked in-house at a top City firm, and latterly has run his own consultancy practice. He has extensive knowledge of the professionals market, and has worked in both IT and finance in the SME sector.
As a former professional yachtsman, racing ocean-going yachts globally, Peter is a consummate team player, and strengthens Elcot’s operation at a time of sustained growth.
Publisher David Murray said: “I am delighted to welcome Peter to The Business Magazine where he will boost the team in both events and sales, liaising with clients, sponsors and prospects at a senior level.
"Peter’s extensive experience with professional services gives him valuable insight when working closely with our key partners as we continue to build The Business Magazine brand and our stable of campaigns and products.”
