Bicester-based specialist sensor systems developer Transense Technologies has announced a number of changes to its board and management.

Three years after joining the firm in April of 2020, Chief Operating Officer Nick Hopkins is stepping down as a director with immediate effect and will formally leave the company on 30 April 2023 after a period of garden leave. His time with the company saw him improve the commercial value of the Surface Acoustic Wave.

Meanwhile, Business Development Director Ryan Maughan is increasing his monthly working days from seven to 12 as part of an expansion to his current role with the aim of supporting the expansion of the business and conversion of the sales pipeline.

Working alongside Translogik Commercial Director, Rob Carlaw, Ryan will also be charged with leading the tyre monitoring equipment segment of the business.

Commercial and Operations Director Paul Vickery is leaving Transense after 19 years by way of redundancy.

Nigel Rogers, Executive Chairman, said: “I would like to thank Nick for his commitment and professionalism in placing our SAW business segment on a great platform for future success and wish him well for the future, and likewise I would like to thank Paul for his many years of commitment to Transense.”
