Reading law firm Boyes Turner has promoted five senior solicitors across its teams, following a strong start to 2024 for the firm.

Claire Taylor-Evans, who joined Boyes Turner in 2007, has made partnership on the employment team.

During her tenure, she’s developed a gender pay gap reporting service to support the firm’s clients, which she’s now working to extend to ethnicity reporting.

Claire also leads the employment group’s growing tech sector initiatives.

Both Melloney Harbutt in personal injury and Helen Dobson in commercial and technology, have been promoted to directors.

Also joining the firm in 2007, Melloney has been key to driving Boyes Turner’s specialist mesothelioma work – both professionally and as an active campaigner.

And Helen, alongside her commercial and technology work, is also deeply involved in the firm’s trainee development.

Finally, Lindsay Da Rè and Richard Pulford have both risen to senior associate within the firm’s court of protection and dispute resolution teams respectively.

Barry Stanton, interim managing partner at Boyes Turner, said: “This new round of promotions reflects our strategic ambitions, the performance of Boyes Turner, and the continued focus and commitment of all our team.

“We’ve always prioritised investing in our people’s development within the firm.

“Talent retention is key to Boyes Turner, so I’m thrilled to be able to recognise all five outstanding solicitors.

“I know that each of them will keep making a significant and valued contribution to their teams, and Boyes Turner’s wider success.”

The latest promotions follow a series of new hires for the practice.

Izzy Brignall recently joined the corporate team as a solicitor apprentice, while earlier this month, Nadine Jayes joined the wills, trusts and probate team as senior associate solicitor.
