Allied Irish Bank (GB) has announced the appointment of Emma Lane as the business centre leader for the Brighton and South East region.
Lane previously worked at Lloyds Banking Group in various roles including business development director and most recently as a programme manager heading up the creation of a shared services risk team in the bank. She has extensive experience working with commercial and corporate customers across the region over the past 15 years.
In her new role at Allied Irish Bank (GB), Emma Lane is responsible for the South East region which includes a team of relationship and business development managers covering Brighton, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. She will report into regional director Mark Medd and will have a base in the bank’s Brighton office.
Lane said: “I am delighted to join the team at Allied Irish Bank (GB) and I am very focused on working in partnership with business owners to understand their business requirements. By working together we can tailor the right financial packages to support expansion strategies and also increase the bank’s market share, providing a greater choice for businesses needing access to finance.”
Mark Medd, regional director, added: “The Brighton and South East team have a strong track record of success and pipeline of deal activity and Emma’s addition to lead the team is sure to enhance this further. I would like to extend a warm welcome to Emma and look forward to leveraging her experience to grow our business across the region.”
