Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club, a family-owned 32-bedroom hotel, has hired Snehal Lakhani as its new deputy general manager.

Snehal, from Leicester, joins the hotel with 35 years’ experience in the hospitality and events sector, working in hotels across the country and as managing director of an events company.

He was previously operations manager at Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa and has worked across brands including Crowne Plaza, Hilton and Marriot.

During his career in the events industry, Snehal has delivered events for Harrods, BAFTA, Mitchell & Butler and the National Space Centre, as well as internal events for Barclays and Santander.

Snehal said: “I’m pleased to be joining a beautiful family-owned hotel. It is a thriving business and has great growth potential.

“I’ll be working with the team and striving to enhance our offer, ensuring the perfect experience for our guests.

“As an independent hotel, with a stable family foundation, there are opportunities for us to be more adventurous, in particular with our events programme.

“It’s exciting to be part of a great team with ambition to deliver brilliant experiences, be that for hotel stays, events, weddings or golf days.“

The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club has expanded its calendar of events over the last 12 months, hosting a range of special brunch and lunch events.

It will also be relaunching its summer music and street food festival StratFest on Saturday 1 June.

The 14th Century hotel features an 18-hole golf course and is set in 150 acres of Warwickshire countryside.

Its on-site Meadow Barn wedding venue has hosted more than 80 weddings in the last year.

Beverley Haynes, co-owner and general manager of the hotel, added: “Snehal joins us with a great pedigree in the hospitality sector.

“His skillset in events will be a great asset as we continue to expand that area of the business.

“We’ve had a fantastic few years at The Stratford Park, with all areas of our business seeing growth, and a programme of investment to improve experiences for our guests – including a new outdoor area which will be opening soon.

“We look forward to working with Snehal to support our plans.”
