NGI Finance has scooped an award from Funding Circle for its success in facilitating loans to local businesses. The 2013 Top Broker Award is in recognition for completing a high number of deals in the year, and NGI Finance is the only broker to have received the award in Oxfordshire.

Funding Circle is one of the largest peer-to-peer lending platforms, having exceeded a total lending of almost £270 million to over 4,000 UK businesses since 2010. This alternative, non-bank method of raising finance brings together over 28,000 small investors who lend over £20m to small businesses every month.

Chris Morris, managing director of NGI Finance, said: “We have worked with Funding Circle since its inception and found the product to be an ideal fit for SMEs – it is attractively priced, flexible and more importantly different to what is on offer with our other lenders. We have seen a 25% increase in our business with Funding Circle over the past three years and existing clients are now returning for top-up loans.”

Thomas Shave, business development manager at Funding Circle, commented: "Funding Circle is pleased to be awarding NGI Finance with one of our 2013 Top Broker Awards. Chris and his team have been working with Funding Circle for over three years by assisting their clients to access business finance fast. We have awarded NGI Finance this award in recognition of their continued support and quality of business.”

Morris concluded: “We are very pleased to have received this award from Funding Circle for being their top introducer in the south. By working as one of their trusted partners it will enable us to continue to help local SMEs raise finance from alternative sources.”
