Northern Venture Managers (NVM) has become NVM Private Equity with immediate effect.

The development of the brand reflects NVM’s niche position in the marketplace making investments between £1m and £10m. NVM’s managers live and work on the ground in regional business communities across the UK and, with small to mid market deals becoming increasingly popular, NVM’s quality regional expertise and experience is making a new name for itself.

Alastair Conn, managing director of NVM, commented: “This progression of our brand reflects NVM’s desire to focus on strongly growing businesses where we believe we can add value and create capital upside. We are expanding nationwide while maintaining a strong regional presence and understanding of local business markets.”

NVM is independently owned venture capitalist company with over 20 years’ experience of investing in UK businesses. The company manages over £180m of funds and is a generalist investor.

NVM’s new identity is reflected in a re-branded logo.
