The Oak Room Restaurant at Tylney Hall Hotel near Hook in Hampshire, has launched its latest a la carte dinner menu.

Under head chef Stephen Hine’s creative influence The Oak Room has become a signature AA rosette award-winning Hampshire restaurant serving innovative modern cuisine celebrating the best of British produce. Achieving this has meant searching diligently and carefully for the finest and freshest produce.

The new menu includes many delicious delights such as smoked duck and fig salad, roulade of salmon, grilled dover sole, slow roasted belly of pork, chocolate and Baileys mousse and English strawberry meringue stack.

For cheese lovers, there is an extensive selection of fantastic local cheeses to choose from. These include soft brie-like Wigmore from North Hampshire, the firm yet creamy Barkham Blue made by Two Hoots in Wokingham and artisan cheese, Tunworth, which was named after the Hampshire village.

Hine commented: “We have prepared this new menu with great care and attention to ensure that each dish complements and enhances flavours and leaves the diner with an unforgettable experience. We are passionate about sourcing the very finest ingredients from local suppliers and we are very lucky to be surrounded by such a wonderful selection to choose from here in Hampshire.”

Set in 66 acres of glorious parkland, which boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire, Tylney Hall Hotel is a Grade II listed building and remains an outstanding example of a luxury country house hotel that has never lost its old-world sense of charm.
