RSM’s M&A and private equity team have successfully advised the shareholders of Primayer, a global leader in water network leak detection and location, on its acquisition by Servelec Technologies, a subsidiary of Laurel Solutions.

The transaction was completed by way of Servelec Technologies’ holding company, Laurel Solutions. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Hampshire-based Primayer develops and manufactures industry leading leakage detection hardware, software, and web-based technologies and services.

Clodagh Tunney, corporate finance director at RSM, commented: "It’s been a pleasure working with the Primayer shareholders to help them achieve their exit aspirations and to find a partner to support the continued growth of the business. Primayer is in exceptional health having grown rapidly over the previous years fuelled by strong legislative demand drivers as Ofwat, the water industry regulator for England and Wales, has raised expectations regarding leak reduction dramatically. We wish the team all the best as they start this new chapter of growth."
