Ecotricity receives limited support for its bid for Good Energy

Stroud green energy supplier Ecotricity, which in July announced its takeover bid for Chippenham based Good Energy, said that it  had received acceptances representing 1.8 per cent of Good Energy Group PLC shares.

On 22 July 2021, Ecotricity announced the terms of its cash offer of 340 pence per share. The offer document was published on 11 August 2021.

Added to Ecotricity's own 25.1 per cent stake in Good Energy, this means the offer currently has support of around 26.8 per cent of Good Energy's shares.

Ecotricity has held shares in Good Energy since 2016.
