Saints renew Acronis partnership

Southampton FC has officially renewed its partnership with with Acronis and Tailor Made Technologies.

The renewal was agreed on August 17 and means that TMT will be providing the team with a full suite of Acronis cyber protection solutions to protect the team's data assets and optimize data workflow.

Acronis is a security company that creates solutions based on the five vectors of Cyber Security: Safety, Accessibility, Privacy, Authenticity, and Security.

According to Acronis the team's choice was made largely due to the 'fast and reliable' backup systems that Acronis provides.

Director of IT at Southampton FC, Huw Fielding, comments: “Southampton FC takes cyber protection very seriously. Global organizations like ours often come under fire from cyberattacks targeting our sensitive data, including information on thousands of fans.

''Protecting the data we have been entrusted with is a significant priority for us, and we have the utmost confidence that Acronis' solution, delivered by Tailor Made Technologies will help us do so.''

TMT will deliver the product as Acronis' official partner. TMT are IT experts that provide managed technologies to SMEs.
