Oxford Biomedica appoints new non-executive director
Oxford Biomedica plc, a viral vector CDMO, has announced the appointment of Leone Patterson as an independent non-executive director.
Leone has over 20 years of public biotech company experience. She has worked in the cell and gene therapy industry and spearheaded significant growth for a number of international commercial companies working across a plethora of areas including: strategy, finance, operations and governance. Her current role is as chief financial and business officer for clinical stage company Tenaya Therapeutics.
The chair of the Oxford Biomedica plc board Dr. Roch Doliveux said: "The appointment of Leone comes at an important juncture for Oxford Biomedica, as we advance our global leadership in viral vector development and supply, providing innovative solutions to our international biopharma customers. Leone's deep understanding of corporate finance, her experience of the US public markets and M&A, in addition to her extensive experience in the cell and gene therapy industry will be invaluable in supporting our international strategy and further strengthening our market position."
Leone also serves on the Board of Directors for Nkarta, a clinical-stage cell therapy company.
