Newbury-based The NAV People has provided Westons Cider with a Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution for it UK and Australian operations.

The solution has improved production management through enhanced planning and forecasting; and has supported the organisation in its rapid growth, which has seen turnover double in the past five years without increasing headcount within the finance division.

The solution is tailored to the specific needs of Westons Cider as a producer and exporter of beverages and was selected for its seamless integration with Drink-IT.

Paddy Smith, company accountant at Westons Cider, commented: “The NAV People helped us to tailor the workflows in the production and quality-control modules to meet our exact requirements.”

Westons sells 46 million pints a year and exports to more than 40 countries worldwide.
