Global tech start-ups offered funded growth by Worcestershire's BetaDen
BetaDen, the company behind an award-winning technology accelerator programme, is inviting tech start-ups from around the world to join its fully funded accelerator programme. The programme aims to support innovative technology-led businesses with market potential and help them accelerate their journey to market.
Starting in June 2024, BetaDen's 9-month award-winning technology accelerator programme offers selected startups a range of benefits. Successful applicants will have access to a £10,000 Proof of Concept grant and a £2,000 Marketing funding. The programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and by Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership through the Growing Places Fund.
Tech startups joining the programme will also have access to a 24/7 co-working space at the Malvern Hills Science Park, support with grants and funding, marketing and PR assistance.
Will Norrell, Co-founder of Triple ESG, said: "We started with no product, we just had an idea, and then throughout the BetaDen journey we got funding as well as expertise from advisors who helped us deliver a product, and we will be leaving BetaDen with a minimum viable product.
Natalie Wadley, Co-founder and CEO of ChangeMaker3D, emphasised the impact of BetaDen and the Proof of Concept support. "We’re a small start-up with high-growth potential. We have significant opportunities down the line but keeping the company going at this early time is challenging, as it is with all start-up SMEs. The impact of the BetaDen and POC (Proof Of Concept) support has been massive. Having top-up grant funding at those key points de-risked our projects."
BetaDen has also helped businesses like Omina7 restart, pivot, and develop new brands, identities, and services. Michele Fitzpatrick, Founder of Omina7, shared her experience, saying, "BetaDen helped us work out what we needed to do. It would have taken us much longer to sort things out without the support. We’ve got our due diligence pack together, which sounds really boring and a sort of thing I would have put off, but I’ve now got it together so got like legal contracts, assigning rights, NDAs, and all sorts of things that you wouldn’t normally think of."
BetaDen's fully funded Accelerator Programme is open to businesses worldwide looking to expand, accelerate, and innovate within Worcestershire. This includes international businesses looking to expand or set up their product in the UK, as well as Worcestershire-based businesses looking to accelerate and innovate. Applicants must be available to travel to Worcestershire for in-person meetings.
