Core to Cloud shortlisted for national Cyber Security Company of the Year award
Cirencester based Core to Cloud has been shortlisted for Cyber Security Company of the Year, at the national Global Business Tech Awards 2022. Winners will be announced Thursday 5th May 2022 via an online ceremony.
The Global Business Tech Awards recognise, reward and celebrate all things technical within the business world. The Cyber Security Company of the Year category brings together leading cybersecurity organisations.
Core to Cloud was formed in 2015 by Co-founders, James Cunningham and Mark Liddle, after the IT resellers met for a drink, and realised they could do better. As Core to Cloud’s CEO, James has more than 15 years in the IT sector and, COO, Mark, has a track record of excellence in the information technology and services industries.
The Cotswold based cyber specialist works with some of the world’s leading security vendors including Cylera, Vectra and Pentera, and has seen considerable, rapid growth in the last 12 months. Year-on-year the Core to Cloud team has doubled with staff numbers now at over 20, sales increased by 100% and its customer base has grown to support more than 150 enterprise, SMEs and healthcare providers locally and nationally in keeping medical IoT devices and cloud-based services secure and safe.
The company protects over 50 NHS Trusts and is the only UK supplier of Cylera cyber security solutions, the only technology built entirely for safeguarding healthcare IoT.
Phil Howe, CTO of Core to Cloud who has 18 years working in the NHS, said, “We want to thank Global Business Tech for recognising the success of Core to Cloud. We are proud of the service we offer our customers and being nominated for the Cyber Security Company of the Year national award motivates us to continue assisting organisations in improving their cyber posture both on premise and within cloud hosted services and educating our clients on the importance of understanding their cybersecurity vulnerabilities and the consequences of poor cyberhealth maintenance.
“We look forward to the results in May and being part of these national industry celebrations.”
