Following the success of MC Plan and Site Services’ first seminar earlier this year, the second has now been booked for early next month, and is aimed at property professionals wishing to accrue Continuing Professional Development points.
The lunchtime event will be held on Thursday June 5 at The Hermitage Hotel in central Bournemouth, opposite the BIC.
The focus will be ‘accessibility’ and how to comply with building regulations - while paying particular attention to all different styles of lift access. It will look at both the domestic and commercial sectors of the construction industry, including the use of bespoke designs to meet these requirements.
MC Plan and Site Services’ guest speaker will be Rob Edwards from Access Lifts who has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and was the main lift access consultant for the Olympic Games. Edwards has been involved in numerous high-profile buildings throughout the country during his career and is passionate about the sector.
Mark Cook, MD of MC Plan and Site Services, said: “I know Rob will provide an interesting and lively presentation for this technical seminar. We ask the delegates to advise us of subjects they are keen to learn more about and will endeavour to cover as many of those as possible across the year.”
MC Plan and Site Services operates in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex and London.
