Should I invest in cleantech?
Environmental technology concept. Sustainable development goals. SDGs.

The Business Magazine is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Thames Valley Tech Awards.

Blake Morgan is on board as sponsor of Innovative Tech Company of the Year AND NOMINATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED IN THAT AND ALL CATEGORIES HERE.

Hosted at Reading FC Conference & Events based at The Select Car Stadium (previously Madejski) on October 20, the awards are a fantastic celebration of the Thames Valley Tech sector.

Blake Morgan is a full-service law firm, whose reputation was built on providing a unique blend of technical expertise, broader experience and commercial realism to innovative technology businesses across the Thames Valley.

The Innovative Tech Company of the Year award recognises and celebrates companies that have developed or produced an outstanding tech innovation (or series of innovations) over the qualifying period.

Blake Morgan has built a reputation by providing a unique blend of technical expertise, broader experience and commercial realism to innovative technology businesses throughout the UK, especially with companies pushing the technological boundaries and discovering new scientific solutions within the Thames Valley.

Samuel Peers said: “We've sponsored the Thames Valley Tech Awards for three years now, as we love having the chance to speak with passionate business leaders and hear about the amazing projects they are working on.

“The awards give us that first-hand insight into the amazing work happening in the Thames Valley Technology market.”

With offices in Reading and Oxford, Blake Morgan are located in the epicentre of the UK's technology sector.

Peers told The Business Magazine: “We work with innovative businesses at every life stage from start-up, scale-up and through to exit. We help businesses protect, comply and succeed in their chosen markets.

“As a leading full-service technology law firm, we provide a wide range of services to technology companies from protecting intellectual property, supporting its commercialisation, to transactional legal services and employment advice.

“Our clients come from both vendors and buyers of technology, meaning we provide balanced advice to start-ups, household names, the public sector and international corporations across many of the major emerging technologies of today.”

Peers said of his firm's involvement: “Our category is Innovative Tech Company of the Year. We're looking at outstanding technological innovations, or a series of innovations, that a business has developed or produced over the past 18 months or so.

“We're hoping to hear from a really diverse group of companies: it can be an amazing scientific / technologic innovation, it could be software which enables users of businesses to reach new heights, or innovative hardware which is helping the UK space industry gather new information or reach new parts of space.

“We are looking to celebrate diversity in the tech sector. Champion the innovative solutions being discovered and developed in the region.

We will take into account the success of the innovation, from product, system or service, and what impact it has had on consumers, clients, or the general business environment. These innovations are most likely active in the market, but we will accept businesses in the R&D phase, but would need to understand real case study examples of how the innovation is applied to a real-world solution.”
