The Business Magazine is now accepting nominations in the Thames Valley Tech Awards Emerging Tech Company of the Year category.

The UK has undergone significant changes in this regard not least due to the UK Innovate Fund. A long established global leader, UK science and technology sector has witness huge advances in tech development in the four years since the fund was established.

Therefore we expect this Egnyte sponsored award to be a hotly contested category.

A spokesperson for the first time sponsors said: "Egnyte are sponsoring the 'Best Emerging Tech Company of the Year' category, and are looking for that special combination of cutting edge technology, vision, energy and business acumen.

"In addition to their other global teams, Egnyte has a team of 250 engineers based in Poland and their software product enables companies to effectively control their data risks by managing their cloud content, leading the way in the secure and govern market.  Their edge and progress is what they want to recognise in an emerging talent in the Thames Valley, so this is a great opportunity to nominate an innovative young company heading for success."

Former winner HR Wallingford collected a Thames Valley Tech Award in 2019 for their innovative tech systems. The company operate world wide, with operations in London, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bristol and Moldova to name a few.

Considering tech developments in blockchain. Smart IOT, Edge Computing, the 2022 prize could be won by a developer who works in their bedroom.

This is what makes this category so exciting. Nominations for Emerging Tech of The Year are for those that are pushing the boundaries and succeeding.

The Thames Valley Tech Awards, headline sponsored by Westcoast, will be held on 20 October 2022 at the Select Car Leasing Stadium (formerly Madejski Stadium) in Reading. The event is hosted by comedian Lucy Porter, tickets are available now.
