Albourne’s Technetix Group acquires Canadian firm
Albourne-based broadband technology provider, Technetix Group Ltd, has acquired Lindsay Broadband Inc, a Canadian broadband technology manufacturer.
The deal will support Technetix’s expansion into the Americas, and broaden the company’s offering for hybrid fibre-coaxial, fibre and mobile networks.
Paul Broadhurst, CEO of Technetix Group, said, “We are delighted with this acquisition as Technetix and Lindsay Broadband have complementary businesses.
“The transaction positions the company for accelerated growth in the Americas market, adding customer base, extensive new products and broad employee talent to the Technetix team.”

The site of Lindsay’s headquarters in Peterborough, Canada, which has departments covering sales, R&D, distribution and manufacturing, will add to Technetix pre-existing sites in Denver, USA and Mexico City, Mexico.
