Work kicks off on £8 million Cygnet 40 facility in Buckingham
Work has started on a new £8 million manufacturing and distribution facility in Buckinghamshire, which is set to create more than 50 jobs for local people.
Cygnet 40 is being built on the Buckingham Industrial Estate and is earmarked to be completed in spring next year, having been approved by Buckinghamshire council in March following a successful application by midlands-based Deeley Group.

Andrew Brazier, development consultant at the Deeley Group, said: "We’re pleased to be underway on site now and creating a leading modern facility for the manufacturing and logistics industry.
"We are working closely with our agents White Commercial Surveyors to identify potential occupiers for the site which is set to generate more than 50 jobs for local people in Buckingham.
"This is our third development in Buckinghamshire and we are proud to continue to contribute to enhancing the economy in Buckingham."
The new distribution hub will be available for sale or on a new lease and will feature electric vehicle (EV) charging for two cars, 43 car parking spaces.
It benefits from easy access to the M1 and M40 and is close to Silverstone’s world-renowned automotive and motorsport cluster.
Chris White, the managing director at White Commercial, added: "Deeley Properties will be providing a quality Headquarters building in Buckingham which is excellently situated close to Milton Keynes and Northampton.
"The availability of the building on a For Sale or To Lease basis is already providing a good level of interest particularly from the high-performance automotive sector."
