Telecoms and tech distributor Milexia UK takes larger Basingstoke HQ
Milexia UK, a pan-European telecommunications and technology distributor, has taken out a 10-year lease at Chineham Park in Basingstoke.
Formerly split across three smaller locations in Basingstoke and Newbury, the consolidated Milexia team now moves into a 8,750 sq ft space at the park, owned and managed by Frasers Property.
Karen Hayden, divisional head of operations at Milexia, said: “Chineham Park offers so much in the way of community.
“In addition to its green spaces and sustainability credentials, its emphasis on ‘community’ was a big deal to us.
“We wanted to find a location that meant our teams really look forward to coming into work and offers them a balance of a great working environment, and space to interact and collaborate with others.”
Glenn Toal, divisional head of sales and marketing, added: “We’re very much a forward-thinking company and the diversity of the workspaces and amenities at Chineham Park aligned with our core values.
“The new space at 3 Hazelwood offers us a new vehicle to drive forward our plans for the future, bringing all our teams together under one roof to better collaborate and add value to our business partners.”
Chineham Park is a 815,000 sq. ft. mixed-use business park, featuring onsite gym, café and nursery and surrounded by green space.
Notable occupiers include Conair, TurtleBeach, InstaVolt and TD Synnex.
Chris Stevens, senior asset manager at Frasers Property, said: “Our high-quality spaces are designed to cater to future ways of working and enhance daily life, enabling our occupiers to grow and flourish.
“Milexia’s goal of creating a sense of community while maintaining sustainability at the forefront of its investment for the future aligns strongly with our mission here at Chineham Park.
“We look forward to welcoming them as an occupier.”
