The 70th Annual General Meeting of the Southampton Property Association (SPA) saw Nella Pang re-installed as chairman for her second year of office. The meeting was held at The White Building, Cumberland Place in Southampton and sponsored by Ashville Asset Management.
Pang reported that the association had hosted 36 events throughout 2016: involving skiing, a quiz, cricket, football and golf, as well as the main event of the year, the Annual charity ball which was attended by over 250 property professionals and raised £6,500 for Wessex Heartbeat and Countess Mountbatten.
She said: “2017 is going to be another exciting year with more events in the pipeline and I would like to thank the committee for their support in 2016.”
A ballot of members was held to form a new committee for 2017 and Pang welcomed new committee members: Ian Barwick, Nicky Davis, Steve Fahey, Sarah Smith, Linden Talbot and Joe Walker.
Following the AGM a very informative and inspirational talk was given by coach, trainer, speaker and author Vanessa Ugatti on ‘How to maximise fees and charging rates’.
