The serviced office provider is set to make significant improvements to the 69,901 sq ft building, which will include a new business lounge and café.
Eaton Power has taken a new 10-year lease at 252 Bath Road Central, occupying 9,849 sq ft on the first floor. There now remains one available suite in the building, totalling 9,720 sq ft.
Since acquiring the business park, which comprises 972,300 sq ft of office and lab space across 18 buildings, in January 2016, AEW has implemented a comprehensive asset management programme including a rebranding of the office portfolio to Bath Road Central.
AEW said the business park now offers a number of added amenities and initiatives for tenants and their employees, including food markets, a summer fete, boot camp training and a range of retail services.
AEW Europe bought Segro’s portfolio of offices on the Bath Road in Slough for £325 million at the beginning of 2016.
Charlie Royle, director, AEW said: “We are delighted with the decision of all three occupiers to commit their future to Bath Road Central. This is testament to the strength of the park and the newly introduced amenity offerings. We are looking forward to announcing further exciting phases of amenity in due course. Already home to a raft of international businesses, Bath Road Central is at the heart of a catchment area that provides access to a highly skilled workforce and is home to the highest concentration of headquarter offices outside of Central London.”
AEW was jointly advised by Savills and Hanover Green. JLL advised Stanley Black & Decker.
