Ultima Business Solutions , the fast-growing IT solutions provider, will, in the next few months, be relocating its existing Reading-based headquarters to Manor Park, a prime 118,800 sq ft business-and-technology campus on Basingstoke Road. All of the 230 Reading-based employees will be moved.
Because of Ultima’s exceptional business growth and the demand for its IT and risk-management services, it is looking to recruit 35 new personnel to join its Reading operations, in both sales positions and technical services. These will range from school leavers looking for their first step in IT to graduates, sales people and highly-skilled technical staff.
In October 2015, Ultima appointed Scott Dodds, who had previously worked for Microsoft and VMware, as its new chief executive. Founder Max McNeill moved to the position of chairman to take a more strategic role in the business. McNeill will focus on acquisitions, recruitment and overseeing the move to the new HQ.
Dodds said: “We have just celebrated our 25th anniversary in the IT industry, and the potential for Ultima to grow with our customers, as they innovate their businesses through modern technology and cloud services, is greater now than ever before. We will retain our recently-expanded London office near Fenchurch Street Station.”
