Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP has been ranked among the top 20 firms for planning law in the UK in Planning magazine's 2018 Planning Law Survey.

Ranked joint 20th, alongside Mishcon de Reya, Blandy & Blandy has risen from 28th in last year’s rankings.

The annual rankings are traditionally dominated by much larger London-based firms, the majority of which operate nationally or internationally. They are compiled based on peer-led interviews and research.

Working closely with leading planning consultants, surveyors and other specialist advisers, Blandy & Blandy is regularly instructed by clients including landowners, developers, investors, financiers, business owners and private individuals in relation to all aspects of planning and environmental law.

The team is highly ranked, for both planning and environmental law in the UK’s two major legal directories, Chambers UK guide and The Legal 500, with the latter also ranking partner and team head Karen Jones as a 'leading individual' in her field. In addition, Jones is a member of the Law Society's planning law panel and the only legal associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute (LARTPI) in the area. Fellow partner Simon Dimmick is also individually recommended in both legal directories for his significant strategic expertise.
