Savills has promoted director Jon Gardiner to be its head of national office agency.
Gardiner has taken over the role from Jeremy Bates who will continue to head its national business space agency, which has grown to 15 teams across the country, and its occupier services alongside his other responsibilities on the UK executive board.
Richard Sullivan remains head of national industrial agency, and he and Gardner will now report to Bates.
Gardiner joined Savills as a graduate in 1998 and became part of the South East office agency team in 2000. Working alongside Bates he has advised on a number of high-profile instructions in the region including Chiswick Park, SEGRO’s Bath Road scheme in Slough, Ruskin Square, Croydon and Station Hill in Reading.
Gardiner said: "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this successful and innovative team.”
Bates added: "Savills continues to have a dominant presence within the national office agency market and Jon's appointment will further strengthen this position. Having worked with Jon for almost 18 years, I take great pride in handing over the baton and look forward to working with him in this capacity.”
