The Thames Valley branch of Women in Property (WiP) has appointed Sabrina Furneaux-Gotch of Penningtons Manches LLP as its new branch chairman.
She has been a member of WiP for three years and is an Oxford-based litigation lawyer specialising in property disputes. A member of the Property Litigation Association, she advises on a wide range of claims relating to property for both commercial and private clients. She is recognised as an “associate to watch” in Chambers UK.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “WiP has been supporting women working in the property and construction sector for nearly 30 years. It is a great advocate of equality in the workplace and works hard to help senior management address diversity issues, and less experienced members to realise their potential. It also runs the National Student Awards, encouraging young women to join the property and construction sector.”
