Jurys Inn Oxford Hotel and Conference Venue has unveiled a new look following the completion of the first stage of a £10.8 million investment.
During 2016, a full refurbishment took place of the 168 existing bedrooms, and an additional 72 bedrooms were launched at the end of the year.
The lobby has been completely transformed with a new colour palette, elegant soft furnishings, and new floor coverings. Dedicated areas have been provided for guests to hold small meetings, and there is also a new Costa Coffee.
The hotel has a new conference centre, and there has been significant investment in technology throughout the 15 meeting rooms which include event spaces, a dedicated boardroom with integrated power sockets for wireless meetings, and new breakout areas. The largest meeting room, the University Suite, accommodates 300 people.
The hotel has also launched a new bar, a renovated Juvenate Health and Leisure Club and a new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill. The new restaurant has 180 covers and is available for corporate hire.
Chris Broderick, general manager, commented: "The team are really proud of the new event spaces and the new look bedrooms. We're looking forward to event buyers visiting the hotel and using the new meeting spaces."
