Orbit Homes secure contract to deliver 52 homes as part of Hastings housing development
Orbit Homes are to construct a 52 homes as part of a larger 210 housing property development in St. Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings.
Porters Grove is a 23-acre development which will consist of a total of 210 new homes. Orbit's affordable properties will be built on the former Darwell Campus of St Leonards Academy.
Construction firm, Bellway Kent is building 158 new homes, which completes the compliment of 210. The 52 affordable homes from Orbit will include 36 affordable rent and 16 shared ownership units.
The 36 affordable rent units comprise of 16 one-bedroom apartments, nine two-bedroom houses, seven three-bedroom houses and four four-bedrooms houses. The 16 shared ownership units comprise of seven two-bedroom houses and nine three-bedroom houses.
