Life Less Ordinary doubles workforce with five appointments
Life Less Ordinary, a boutique property developer based in Hemel Hempstead, has appointed five new hires to newly created roles. The appointments double the size of the firm's workforce as it targets a residential development value of more than £50 million next year.
In the role of Head of Technical, Life Less Ordinary headhunted James Cross, previously of Persimmon Homes. Across his 40-year career, James has worked for some of the top names in the industry, including Barratt Homes, Crest Nicholson and Berkeley Homes.
James, a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, has experience across all aspects of residential development, and a track record of delivering complex residential and mixed-use schemes.
Joining from Inland Homes as Head of Commercial is Paul Litherland. Paul gained experience at Keir Construction and Tolent Construction, after being sponsored through his degree at university by Taylor Woodrow Construction.
Joining Paul in the commercial team as Assistant Surveyor is Ben Revel.
Darren Breen joins Life Less Ordinary in the construction arm as Operations Manager, having left Boshers to do so. His previous experience at Ballymore and Inland home will enable the business to extend its product offering with a closer eye to detail and the ability to scale up to a larger number of homes.
