Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the sale of Hill Ash House Care Centre, a care facility located in the Gloucestershire village of Dymock, near Ledbury, to experienced local operators.

Hill Ash House Care Centre, a Grade II listed manor house, provides 36 residential beds.

The home has recently undergone a substantial renovation programme, which has incorporated a range of services, communal areas and bedrooms.

The previous owners had owned and operated Hill Ash Care Centre for over a decade and they made the decision to sell, to downsize their existing operation. The business has been purchased by experienced local operators, who already own two homes in the area.

Simon Harvey, Director at Christie & Co handled the sale. He said: “The size and style of homes such as Hill Ash House Care Centre are very popular with new entrants and experienced operators seeking to grow their portfolios. This sale demonstrates the appetite from local and regional operators to acquire homes where their local presence can have a positive impact on the business moving forward."
