Kerr Office Group makes three appointments

Swindon-based turnkey office interior designer Kerr Office Group has announced one internal promotion alongside two managerial appointments.

Alex Kerr, son of founder Jonathon Kerr, has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer. He initially joined the family business fifteen years ago, working his way up to Chief Operating Officer in 2020.

As a result of his promotion, Jonathon will now step into a customer service role, focusing on the client relationships he has developed over the last 36 years.

Meanwhile, Jon Horwood joins the firm as Business Development Manager, a role which will see him charged with expanding the business and driving revenue. His past experience is focused in the media publishing and advertising industries.

Also joining the team is Simon Curl. Simon, who joins from Japanese multinational Honda, will take on the role of Safety and Environmental Manager, which will see him monitoring both health and safety risks and the company’s ongoing sustainability goals.

The appointments follow recent success for the company, including their largest ever project win which will see them redeveloping the 80,000 square foot regional headquarters of Swindon’s Grant UK.
