Horizon Leisure to open in Guildford following £1m refurbishment
Horizon Leisure, a charitable trust which operates gyms in Hampshire, is set to open in Guildford following a £1 million refurbishment.
The trust, which is opening the gym on the site of the former Sports Direct gym which closed in December, will open the new gym in the summer once building works on the site, which include an updated front exterior, large gym area, exercise and cycling studio, sauna and steam room and revamped changing facilities.
As part of its plans to reinvest back into the community Horizon Leisure will reinvest any operating surplus back into the local area, and will offer a number of health initiatives including tailored sessions for people with specific needs and to a GP and health referral scheme.
