A Hampshire property development company is taking on a new identity as it prepares to step onto the national stage. Hampshire & Regional Property Group, which specialises in city-centre regeneration and PRS schemes, will be known as National Regional Property Group. It comes as the company widens its geographical reach and negotiates deals on several significant projects.

Portsmouth-based National Regional Property Group was founded just four years ago and has seen huge success in its home county. It currently has over £200 million worth of projects underway in the south, including the £60m redevelopment of Southampton’s former fruit and vegetable market.

Chief executive and founder Shaun Adams said: “We’ve far surpassed our initial growth targets but if there’s one thing we refuse to do that’s rest on our laurels. We are fiercely ambitious and know that we have both the skill and the financial backing to stand shoulder to shoulder with other national developers."

Chairman Walter Cha said: “Changing our name to National Regional Property Group is proof that we mean business. In short, we’re ready to replicate our existing successes on a national scale.”

Managing director Allan Gordon added: “The unique landscape of the South has given us a fantastic foundation on which to prove ourselves. Hampshire will always be at our heart; it’s a place we’re proud to call home. We’re excited to show our national peers what businesses from this area can achieve.”

National Regional Property Group will continue to be highly active in the south’s business and construction community. The company is an active member of Business South, with Allan Gordon sitting on the Regenerate South panel, and is heavily involved in Shaping Portsmouth Developers Group.
