Portsmouth-based estate and lettings agency Chinneck Shaw has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new property manager, Jamie McCutcheon, to work out of its offices in Milton Road and Tangier Road.

McCutcheon’s responsibilities at the independent family firm include viewings, lettings and administration.

McCutcheon said: “The staff and clients at Chinneck Shaw have been very welcoming and I’m looking to pursuing a successful career in property with the firm.”

McCutcheon is based at 10-strong Chinneck Shaw’s Milton Road office but will move around the business to gain experience.

Director Neil Shaw said: “Jamie has made a great first impression and has fitted into the team very well. Enthusiastic and talented employees such as Jamie will play a key role at Chinneck Shaw as we continue to grow."

McCutcheon had previously teed up a promising career as a professional golfer but injury put paid to his hopes.

Chinneck Shaw estate agents, letting agents, property managers and chartered surveyors was founded in 1883. The firm is a member of Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) and the Portsmouth Property Association (PPA).
