Gloucestershire-based tower crane specialist Bennetts has been listed in the Financial Times FT1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Businesses, released this month.

This puts Bennetts alongside some of the biggest and fastest growing companies across Europe, take into account the growth of the company over the last three years.

Bennetts, based at Sharpness Docks, specialises in the hire and sale of tower cranes to the residential and commercial construction industry throughout the UK, concentrating mainly in the south of England.

The business has seen rapid growth over the last three years. The directors put this down to a mix of good trading conditions, a focus on the bouyant residential market, significant investment in new crane models and a high level of customer service.

The company has also rebranded.

Managing Director Edward Seager says the re-brand is part of an on-going drive for innovation, growth and improvement across the business.

“We know that to stay competitive we need to look at every aspect of our business - our company re-brand is just one part of that. We certainly feel we are now well-placed for the next decade ahead and we’re focused on continuing our growth and strengthening our brand.”

The FT1000 list is put together by The Financial Times in conjunction with Statista and charts the top 1000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2013 and 2016. Tens of thousands of businesses are entered and checked every year before the final ranked list is revealed. The digital list was released on April 6th online and a full printed report will be published at the end of the month.
