The Commercial Property team at Cheltenham-based BPE Solicitors have advised the owners on the sale of Fairlawn House, Amesbury – a Grade II listed Georgian guest house near the Stonehenge world heritage site – for an undisclosed amount.

Senior Associate, Matthew Jones with support from Paralegal, Joseph James acted on the sale of the property and the business assets. They worked closely with the client to compile a comprehensive due diligence package, dealt with title boundary discrepancies and negotiated a detailed transfer of part and asset purchase agreement.

Keith said: “We were so pleased with how dedicated Matt and the team were to getting our transaction across the line. Matt always kept us up to date. We could call him at any time and rely upon him to safely guide us through the sale process.”

Ed Jefferson, Associate Director of Hotels for Colliers commented “Selling a leisure business can be an arduous process. I know when I recommend Matt and the team at BPE they will anticipate the issues and tenaciously commit themselves to resolving them and achieving our mutual clients’ goals.”
