Darren Johnson appointed to Farnborough International board

Farnborough International has appointed media, events and B2B specialist Darren Johnson to its board as non-executive director.

The brand, known for delivering Farnborough International Airshow and a range of other events, as well as Farnborough International Studios, expects Johnson’s appointment to support the progression of its sustainable growth strategy.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience in business strategy, scaleup and value creation, having help leadership roles In organisations such as Reed Exhibitions and Kodak Alaris, along with his current role as Global Practice Lead, Events at Collingwood Advisory.

Johnson is a member of the UK Events Industry Board, Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and a past Chair of the UK Association of Event Organisers. In his role on the board, Johnson will be supporting the board in maintaining and developing Farnborough International’s reputation in the global events space.
