Boutique East Sussex care home sold for first time to family operators
Alfriston Court Care Home, a boutique accommodation registered for 27 service users, has been sold for an undisclosed price.
Occupying an Edwardian country house and situated on roughly four acres of land, the former hotel was converted into a care facility by Chanctonbury Healthcare in 2008.
It’s now been acquired by the Andrews family, who also operate Country Lodge Nursing Home in Worthing.
John Harrison, director – care at Christie & Co, oversaw the discreet sale process.
He said: “I’m delighted to have completed the sale of Alfriston Court, which enjoys an attractive location with lovely views across the South Downs National Park.
“I knew this opportunity would be a great addition for the Andrews family following their purchase of Country Lodge Nursing Home which also operates as a successful family business with a good, well-established reputation.”
