The £2 million project to refurbish the three-storey Enterprise Pavilion at the Bournemouth Arts University has been completed on time and on budget by Fareham-based Amiri Construction.
Grahame Pettit, managing director at Amiri, presented a commemorative framed image of the new-look building on behalf of the contracts team to the principal and vice-chancellor Professor Stuart Bartholomew CBE.
“We are delight with the refurbishment that has taken place on a tired building that was in need of significant attention. We now have a usable and very attractive key space which is why we have renamed the facility as University House,” said Bartholomew.
Pettit said that the University House project will be proudly added to Amiri Construction’s portfolio of work within the education sector in Dorset, which includes contracts for the Milton Abbey, and Canford Magna private schools, Lytchett Minster Comprehensive school, and the Quay School. Education-related contracts contribute around 30% of the company’s £38 million turnover.
