Aylesbury: Portakabin to open regional distribution unit
Portakabin has taken a lease of four acres of a new open storage facility at Westcott Venture Park, located between Bicester and Aylesbury.
Owner Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP has developed a total of five and a half acres of fully-serviced open storage space. Portakabin has taken a lease on four acres of the new open storage facility for a term of 10 years and at a rental of £160,000 per annum. This will be used as the company’s regional distribution, sales and repair store.
Portakabin, formerly known as Konstructa Hire, is a member of the Portakabin Group of companies which is part of the Shepherd Group.

This leaves a further one and a half acres of fully serviced, high quality hard standing open storage space available for immediate occupation.
“Westcott Venture Park is particularly suited to open storage due to its 24-hour access and security provision. With the severe shortage of good quality open storage land in the region, we are confident of rapid take-up of the remaining space.”
Westcott Venture Park is now home to 76 businesses and provides employment space for more than 600 people and is managed by Lambert Smith Hampton.
